Acting for TV and Film with actress and coach Jen Danby
(Long Beach, NY) Mississippi
Mud Productions and This American Blonde Actress™ present this one day
workshop which will give participants a chance to explore the craft of
acting for the
camera in a nurturing and fun environment. Actress and coach Jen Danby
will guide students through working on a film monologue or scene helping
them achieve a natural and true performance. Participants will memorize
a film monologue or short scene that will
be hand picked for them and emailed in advance of the workshop. The day
will start with a warm up and then move into the acting for film
portion. Participants will receive a video file of their work or a DVD
if preferred.

your level of acting experience or send an acting resume. Note this
workshop is open to those with or without experience.
The workshop is limited to 8-10 students, 10 is the max. Rolling
admission early submission advised. Enrollment deadline is Tuesday
November 10th.

Jen Danby is an actress, teacher and director and Long Beach resident.
Select NY theater roles include Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,
Catharine in Suddenly, Last Summer and Marilyn Monroe in The Blonde
Bombshell Project. Most recently her original one woman
show Sharon Tate in Heaven played in Los Angeles, and an original Film
version for New Media filmed on location in Hollywood and produced under
Screen Actors Guild contract will be released in 2016. Other TV/Film
work includes All My Children, Love Monkey,
Run 3, and True Hollywood Sitter. Founder of Mississippi Mud
Productions and This American Blonde Actress.
